Aseer region
Aseer is one of the administrative regions of Saudi Arabia, located in the south-western part of the country, with Abha as the seat of the emirate.
Aseer’s borders extend from Al-Darb, Al-Shaqiq, and Baysh (Jazan region) in the south-west to the borders of Yemen in the south-east, and from Wadi Al-Dawasir (Riyadh region) in the north to Ranieh (Makkah region), to Ghamid, Zahran (Al-Baha region) and Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. In the coastal plain of Al-Qunfudhah, it is bordered to the east by the Emirate of Najran region, and to the west by the Qunfudah Governorate as part of the Red Sea coast.
